Make Your Own Biscuit Mix (like Bisquick)

Ingredients:
  • 3/4 Cup Flour
  • 1 1/4 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1/3 tsp Salt
  • 2 1/2 TBL Shortening 

Prep:

Mix all the dry ingredients, then cut in the shortening until the mixture is the consistency of rough crumbs. Refrigerate up to six weeks. Makes 1 cup, for larger amounts the recipe scales up well.
