Hope's Tuna-Rice Sh*t

My friend Hope taught this dish to me, a variation on the old "Tuna Casserole" dish.  It's quick and easy and tastes great.

Ingredients:
  • 1 can (3 1/2 oz.) tuna (dolphin-safe, please!)
  • 1 can (10 1/2 oz.) of cream soup (chicken, mushroom, or celery)
  • 1 cup uncooked rice (or instant rice to make 2 cups cooked)
  • milk
  • salt
  • pepper

Cook rice according to package directions.  Mix in the can of cream soup and tuna, thinning with some milk until desired consistency.  Season with salt and pepper.

Add to this recipe as you like.  Some ideas are peas, broccoli, or cheese (parmesan works well!).

To Go Withs:
Canned, frozen, or fresh vegetables
Green Salad
